Was I scared? ........ No, Not me ! ! !

Hi Andrea....
No, I wasn`t scared taking the pic of the jet taking off.... here is a couple of movies I took on the end of the runway at RAF Mildenhall.... USAF base in East Anglia.... I am standing on the runway approach line, just outside the perimiter fence ( a public road runs across the end of the runway (almost))...
Oh and here is a clue about the pic on my stream.....
It is a real plane, but it is now a tribute to the men who served at the Royal Naval Air Station FORD, Although this type of aircraft never actually flew from this station... It is situated at the entrance to the old air station. if you look at the map on this linky....

It is at the end of the right hand runway of the cross, there is a thin line (road) leading out to a green field...
