This weekend, sees one of the major events in the Watercress Line Calendar.... A re-enactment of how it used to be during, or just after the war. With extra steam trains scheduled to run between Alresford and Alton, and a wide range of events taking place at Alresford, Ropley, and Four Marks stations, there is plenty to see and do. This year, there is a chance to see the famous spitfire doing some flying over Ropley station, and many re-enactment groups turn out in their uniforms and equipment to give the whole experience an authentic atmosphere. So here are some "atmospheric" pictures I took today, hopefully showing something of the flavour of the day.
