1st, move the "Gamma" slider to .60
2nd move the "contrast" slider to 6
click OK
then save....... job done.!.

Thanks Gerry for this advice. The lighting of the new image looks more natural. Contrast is also improved. I can do this bit of processing in my next photos. No need to delete the photos. Others may get benefitted from this article.
